Julie He

Julie Ping He has the knowledge, experience, and integrity to give you the financial advice you need to help your family achieve your financial goals. Julie specializes in investment management and takes an active, hands-on approach. Each client’s portfolio is customized to suit their individual risk tolerance and objectives. Julie has a wholistic view and synchronizes a client’s investments with the other important areas of a client’s life. For example, if saving taxes is a priority, Julie provides tax-efficient strategies and tax-deferral solutions.

Julie had served 20 years at several Bay Area technology companies, including a startup (Liberate Technologies) that successfully went IPO.   She understands ISOs, RSUs, and how to guide employees through all phases of stock compensation including pre-IPO and lockup periods.  Julie also served as controller at Fortune 500 companies including Hitachi Data Systems.  She understands the full spectrum of employee benefits and executive compensation programs. As a financial advisor, these valuable experiences allow Julie to specialize in helping engineers and working professionals.

Julie left the corporate world in 2013 to fulfill her desire to help individuals and families. She completed a CFP Board-certified educational program at University of California at Santa Cruz in 2016. This was in addition to a MBA in Finance from San Jose State University and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from University of Minnesota.  

She is married to her husband Greg and they live in Saratoga, California. They enjoy spending time with family and friends. They travel to China to visit Julie’s parents and childhood classmates. Julie also believes in giving back to communities. She is a guest speaker at UCSC and serves as a board director at the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Silicon Valley.
